Baseball Recap: Sarasota Military Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against The Classical Academy of Sarasota last Tuesday, Sarasota Military Academy came back down to earth. Sarasota Military Academy lost 13-3 to the Foundation Christian Academy Panthers on Thursday.

Sarasota Military Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Vincente Diego-Hernandez, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Sarasota Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1-1.

Coming up, Sarasota Military Academy will square off against Southeast at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Foundation Christian Academy, they will take on Victory Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
