Soccer Game Preview: Redeemer Christian vs. Oak Hall

The Redeemer Christian Lions will square off against the Oak Hall Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Redeemer Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Redeemer Christian faced off against Palatka on Saturday. Redeemer Christian walked away with a 3-1 victory over Palatka. The Lions found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Noah Nelson and Stellan Roe were both handed yellow cards.

Christian Magwood and Nelson scored all three of Redeemer Christian's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 45 goals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oak Hall). Everything went their way against Interlachen on Tuesday as Oak Hall made off with a 10-2 win. Considering the Eagles have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Redeemer Christian has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six contests. As for Oak Hall, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Redeemer Christian came up short against Oak Hall when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 5-3. Can Redeemer Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
