Basketball Recap: Verona Piles Up the Points Against North Star Academy

Verona won the last time they faced North Star Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Verona Hillbillies breezed by North Star Academy to the tune of 56-17.

Verona now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Star Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Verona and East Side will compete for holiday cheer at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Star Academy will take on Kearny in a holiday battle at at 2:30 p.m. on Monday.
