Providence Academy comes up short despite Isaiah Peters-Daniels' dominant performance

Providence Academy lost against the Grace Christian Academy Rams on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Providence Academy fell to Grace Christian Academy 57-51. Providence Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Providence Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaiah Peters-Daniels. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That was a full 39.2% of Providence Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Gilmer, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.

Providence Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Grace Christian Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Providence Academy and Concord Christian will face off at 4:15 p.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Berean Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
