After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Butler, Sussex County Tech was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Academy of St. Elizabeth Panthers with a sharp 12-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Sussex County Tech, who have now won six matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Sussex County Tech's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Academy of St. Elizabeth, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Sussex County Tech wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 11-5 defeat against Kittatinny Regional on the 3rd. As for Academy of St. Elizabeth, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Dover on the 3rd.
