Jubilee Lake View University Prep fought the good fight in their overtime game against Gervin Academy on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 79-71 to the Coyotes. Even though they lost, the Rams' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 55 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Jubilee Lake View University Prep lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Richard Benitez, who went 9-for-19 on his way to 19 points in addition to six steals and five assists. Benitez is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least five every time he's taken the court this season. Christopher Corona was another key player, putting up 15 points along with seven boards and five steals.

Jubilee Lake View University Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
