With a playoff win on the line, Oviedo rose to the challenge on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Edgewater Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Edgewater with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ellison Ruffin (2), Blake Bertot, and Alexzander Pavlovic.

Oviedo's win bumped their record up to 11-3-3. As for Edgewater, they now have a losing record at 8-9-2.

Oviedo will square off against Winter Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Winter Springs will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Oviedo surely won't give up without a fight. Edgewater does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
