Basketball Recap: Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy dropped to 7-2 on Monday, ending the team's six-game streak of wins on the road dating back to last season. They fell 64-54 to the Seton Catholic Sentinels. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Sentinels are ranked fifth).

Despite the loss, Pusch Ridge Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Noah McKinney, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 11 boards. The game was McKinney's third in a row with at least 16 points. Levi Adcock was another key player, putting up eight points and 14 rebounds.

As for Seton Catholic, the win keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 70.9 points this season.

It was another big night for Kj Fauske, who shot 75% from beyond the arc on his way to 30 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Seton Catholic's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Morris, who posted ten points and seven assists.

Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has already played their next matchup, a 61-40 win against ALA - Ironwood on the 12th. As for Seton Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-59 loss against Benjamin Franklin on the 11th.
