Basketball Game Preview: Brookwood Panthers vs. Paul W. Bryant Stampede

The Brookwood Panthers and the Paul W. Bryant Stampede will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Brookwood challenged Northridge on Friday. Brookwood was beaten by Northridge 52-21. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Paul W. Bryant entered their tilt with Central on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They snuck past the Falcons with a 46-41 win. While the Stampede didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Brookwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Paul W. Bryant, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Brookwood came up short against Paul W. Bryant in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, falling 50-45. Can Brookwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
