Volleyball Recap: Pitman Pride vs. St. Mary's Rams

Pitman and St. Mary squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Pitman had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Rams. The Pride's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.
Maryn Hall paced Pitman's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hall got some help from Nicoletta Dowd and her 16 assists. Hall was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
St. Mary's was led to victory by Rachel Nemee and Genevieve Rishwain. Nemee had 13 digs and six assists, while Rishwain had eight digs and three aces. Pitman's defeat dropped their record down to 27-10. As for St. Mary's, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-11 record this season.
