Softball Recap: Atlantic Coast Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Atlantic Coast had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Fletcher Senators by a score of 4-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 5-2 win two weeks ago.

Lily Maguire spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits.

On the hitting side, Rylee Ratti was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Atlantic Coast's record is now 18-2. As for Fletcher, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Coincidentally, Atlantic Coast and Fletcher will both be playing Nease the next time they take the field. The Senators will head out to face the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Stingrays will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
