Basketball Recap: Snowflake Takes a Loss

Snowflake lost against Coolidge back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lobos lost to the Bears on the road by a 60-46 margin.

Preston Dees had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds for Coolidge. The matchup was Dees' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jensen Carter, who went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points.

Snowflake's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Coolidge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snowflake will challenge Page at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lobos are facing the Sand Devils at the right time seeing as the Sand Devils are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Coolidge, they will take on Empire at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will be up against the Ravens' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.75 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
