Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Woodbridge's Third in Last Four Outings

If Forest Park wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Woodbridge, they should've done a better job of containing Audrina Johnson. The Woodbridge Vikings simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Forest Park Bruins 65-32 thanks in part to Johnson, who went 8 for 14 en route to 23 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals.

Another player making a difference was Zoey Coffer, who went 5 of 9 to rack up 13 points in addition to five assists and five boards. She also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Woodbridge is 3-1 when she posts at least three steals, but 7-10 otherwise.

Woodbridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points over those games. As for Forest Park, they dropped their record down to 3-19 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Woodbridge nor Forest Park have any future games scheduled.
