Baseball Recap: Kiski School Takes a Loss

Kiski School fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Mercersburg Academy on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Storm by a score of 8-7. The Cougars have struggled against the Storm recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Kiski School saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wade Collins, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and one double.

Kiski School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Mercersburg Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kiski School will challenge River Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mercersburg Academy, they will square off against Peddie at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
