Softball Recap: LAMP Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for LAMP's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Brewbaker Tech Rams on Tuesday. If the Golden Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

LAMP saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alice Vickers, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for LAMP and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Brewbaker Tech, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LAMP will head out to square off against Alabama Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. LAMP is facing Alabama Christian Academy at the right time seeing as Alabama Christian Academy is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Brewbaker Tech, they are taking a road trip to face off against Stanhope Elmore at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brewbaker Tech will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Stanhope Elmore will have lost five straight heading into Thursday's matchup.
