Basketball Recap: Kennebunk Comes Up Short

Kennebunk managed to slip by Westbrook the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rams lost 53-28 to the Blue Blazes on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rams have suffered against the Blue Blazes since February 3, 2022.

Westbrook's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Bolden, who shot 70% from the field en route to 19 points. Those 70% field goal percentage gave Bolden a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyla Dunphe, who went 6-for-10 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds.

Kennebunk's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Westbrook, their record now sits at 9-7.
