After a string of three wins, East River's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 42-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winter Park Wildcats. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

East River's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Winter Park, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East River won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Colonial at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Colonial has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 225 points over their last three games. As for Winter Park, they will take on Cypress Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
