It was a good run, but Belleville unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cuba City Cubans. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cubans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Anna Alexander paced Belleville's offense, picking up five kills. Alexander got some help from Jocelyn Raven and her seven assists.

Belleville's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Cuba City, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

Belleville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lake Country Lutheran on the 13th. As for Cuba City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Luther Prep on the 13th.
