            Cardington-Lincoln has gone 9-1 against Fredericktown recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. The Cardington-Lincoln Pirates will challenge the Fredericktown Freddies at 7:15  p.m. Cardington-Lincoln will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Friday, Cardington-Lincoln rang in the new year with  a  48-36 victory over Mt. Gilead.

 Cardington-Lincoln can attribute much of their success to   Jill Bertke, who  went 6 for 9  on her way to 14  points and three  blocks, and   Kinstin Henthorn, who  went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc on her way to 18  points. Bertke has been hot, having  posted two or more  blocks the last seven times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madison Caulkins, who  posted three points.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of seven wins, Fredericktown's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They had to suffer through a   70-39 loss at the hands of Clear Fork. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss the Freddies have suffered  since February 12, 2024.
 Cardington-Lincoln's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 6-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Fredericktown, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-2.
 Cardington-Lincoln came up short against Fredericktown in their previous meeting  back in December of 2024, falling  45-37. Can Cardington-Lincoln avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
