Baseball Recap: Ridgefield Memorial Takes a Loss

Ridgefield Memorial fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Hasbrouck Heights on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Aviators by a score of 9-8. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Royals of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Ridgefield Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Hasbrouck Heights, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Ridgefield Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hasbrouck Heights, they will take on Lodi at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Aviators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
