Volleyball Recap: Windber Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Windber lost against Berlin Brothersvalley back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Ramblers fell 3-1 to the Mountaineers. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Windber was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Berlin Brothersvalley work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 30-32, 27-25, 25-15.

Taylor Dzurko paced Windber's offense, picking up 12 kills. Dzurko got some help from Liliana Grillo and her 34 assists. Adelynn Slatcoff controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Windber's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, they pushed their record up to 9-0-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Windber and Berlin Brothersvalley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. The Ramblers will square off against Salisbury Elk Lick at 7:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (65 vs. 271). Meanwhile, Berlin Brothersvalley (ranked 16th) will meet Southern Fulton (ranked 140th) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
