Baseball Recap: Travelers Rest Takes a Loss

Travelers Rest managed to slip by Greer the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Travelers Rest lost 13-3 to Greer on Friday. The Devildogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellow Jackets earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Travelers Rest's loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Greer, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Travelers Rest will face off against Woodmont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The last four games Woodmont has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Greer, they will square off against Pickens at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
