Football Recap: Miami Trace's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Miami Trace strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Western Brown Broncos by a score of 35-27. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Cooper Enochs and Julian Baker. Enochs gained 116 total yards and a touchdown while Baker rushed for 91 yards and a pair of scores. Enochs really tore up the turf during one magnificent 70-yard run.

Miami Trace's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Western Brown, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Miami Trace and Western Brown will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Panthers will face off against rival Chillicothe at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Western Brown is set to challenge their familiar foe Wilmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
