Basketball Game Preview: Northbrook Raiders vs. Stratford Spartans

Northbrook is 0-10 against Stratford since December of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Northbrook Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Stratford Spartans at 7:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Northbrook was beaten by Jersey Village 63-23.

Meanwhile, Stratford entered their tilt with Cypress Creek on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 55-44. The win was all the more spectacular given the Spartans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 680th, while the Cougars are ranked 317th).

Northbrook's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Stratford, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Northbrook took a serious blow against Stratford in their previous meeting back in January, falling 46-12. Can Northbrook avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
