Basketball Recap: Kensley Marcus' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Loch Raven over Randallstown

Loch Raven was the 54-18 winner over Randallstown when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Loch Raven Raiders took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Randallstown Rams on Friday.

Loch Raven lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kensley Marcus, who posted 15 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave Marcus a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Hopkins, who scored two points along with ten boards and three steals.

Loch Raven's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Randallstown, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Loch Raven didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 45-39 victory against Overlea on the 13th. As for Randallstown, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-27 loss against Dundalk on the 15th.
