Westside piles up the points against Berea

Recap: Westside Rams vs. Berea Bulldogs

A well-balanced attack led the Westside Rams over the Berea Bulldogs in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Westside blew the Bulldogs out of the water with a 89-40 final score. With Westside ahead 39-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Westside was led to victory by Joshua Williams and Zeke Marshall. Williams scored 21 points along with two steals, while Marshall scored 18 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Marshall hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Earle-nelson, who scored 14 points.

Westside is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Berea, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westside will take on the Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Greenville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,196 points over their last 18 contests. As for Berea, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
