Football Game Preview: Fullerton Warriors vs. Archangels Catholic Defenders

Two dominant signal callers in Cael Dubas and Gavin Geilenkirchen are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Fullerton Warriors will host the Archangels Catholic Defenders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Fullerton played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. Everything went their way against Nebraska Christian as they made off with a 44-18 victory. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Archangels Catholic won against Nebraska Christian last Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Defenders really took it to Osceola for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-14 victory. With the Defenders ahead 40-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Archangels Catholic's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Fullerton, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Fullerton was dealt a bruising 54-18 defeat at the hands of Archangels Catholic when the teams last played back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 38-6.
