Volleyball Recap: Kingman Comes Up Short

Kingman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Odyssey Institute Minotaur.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Odyssey Institute scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-17.

Kingman's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Odyssey Institute, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

Looking ahead, Kingman will challenge Northwest Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Crusaders will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Odyssey Institute, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Valley Christian on the 11th.
