Football Recap: Maplewood Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Dakotah Crum and Kyle Jordan

It was a proper cat-fight when Maplewood duked it out with Seneca on Friday. The Tigers took a 35-16 bruising from the Bobcats. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Maplewood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Kyle Jordan, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores, and Dakotah Crum, who rushed for 120 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Seneca found their leader in sophomore Rylan Harwood, who rushed for 150 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 97 yards and a pair of TDs. Harwood's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.

Maplewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Seneca, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

As of now, neither Maplewood nor the Bobcats have any future games scheduled.
