Charlotte S's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Grace Academy Lions get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The game marked the Stampede's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Charlotte S got a great performance from Grant Allen as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. Allen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bowen Macy, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Tommy Shaw also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

With the win, Charlotte S broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-8. As for Grace Academy, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charlotte S will face off against Carmel Christian at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Academy, they will take on Forsyth Home Educators at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Forsyth Home Educators will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Grace Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
