Selah has gone a perfect 10-0 against Prosser recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Vikings will square off against the Mustangs at 10:00 a.m. Selah's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Prosser's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Selah took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Othello, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Huskies 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three contests in a row.

Meanwhile, Prosser suffered their closest defeat since April 6, 2024 on Saturday. They fell just short of Toppenish by a score of 3-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prosser saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryson Ashton, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Another was Jacob Rainer, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Selah pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Prosser, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.

Selah took their victory against Prosser in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
