Volleyball Recap: Boiling Springs Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Littlestown, Boiling Springs was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bishop McDevitt Crusaders. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bubblers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The win didn't come easy: Bishop McDevitt scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 23-25, 25-21.

Boiling Springs' victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3. As for Bishop McDevitt, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Boiling Springs will square off against rival Harrisburg at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bishop McDevitt is set to take on their familiar foe Steelton-Highspire at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
