League recap: Crooked Oak scores huge upset over Dibble

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Dibble, who took down 168th ranked Dibble, 56-40.

Oklahoma Christian extended the longest winning streak in 2A District 2 this week by beating Christian Heritage, 35-14. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Oklahoma Christian's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Austin Brooks threw for 173 and four touchdowns and Blake Barnes had 88 yards receiving. On the ground Luke Frankfurt chipped in 106 yards. Garrett Kilborn helped Oklahoma Christian's passing attack out by catching three balls for 45 yards.

Derek Turner's team's Brooks and Barnes have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brooks has thrown for 1742 yards this season, while Barnes, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 31 catches for 584 yards. The Demons' Tazden Jevons leads the league in rushing yards with 1233.

Luther's Steven Northerton needs only 100 yards against Millwood next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Northerton has rushed for 900 yards on 125 carries so far this year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Falcons take on the Lions. Millwood is currently in second, while Luther is in sixth.
