After flying high against Chetek-Weyerhaeuser on Friday, Barron came back down to earth. The Golden Bears took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Friday. The Golden Bears' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Barron's loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.

Coming up, Barron will venture away from home to square off against Cumberland at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Beavers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.45 runs per game on average), something the Golden Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, they will host Ladysmith at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
