Basketball Recap: Avon Grove Charter Takes a Loss

Avon Grove Charter is still winless after their contest against Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-47 heartbreaker at the hands of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Falcon. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcon apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Avon Grove Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Avon Grove Charter and Freire Charter School Wilmington will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, they will be home for the holidays to greet Perry Hall Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
