Haskell wins going away against Mounds

Recap: Haskell Haymakers vs. Mounds Golden Eagles
The Haskell Haymakers can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 40-28 victory over Mounds. That 12 points margin sets a new team best for Haskell this season.
Despite the loss, Mounds still got an impressive performance from Baylie Harig, who scored 17 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harig has scored all season.
Haskell's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Mounds, their loss was their 17th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Haskell won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Regent Prep at 1:00 p.m. on January 20th. As for Mounds, they will head out on the road to challenge Haskell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Haskell has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
