Basketball Recap: Long Trail Piles Up the Points Against Proctor

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Long Trail). They took their matchup on Monday with ease, bagging a 64-22 win over the Proctor Phantoms. The victory was familiar territory for Long Trail who have now won four games in a row.

Long Trail has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.4 points per game. As for Proctor, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Long Trail has already played their next matchup (against Green Mountain), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Proctor will take on Sharon Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
