Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Knights vs. Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers
The Lafayette Christian Academy Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season. They breezed by Woodlawn-B.R. on the road to the tune of 70-36. The victory was nothing new for Lafayette Christian Academy as they're now sitting on five straight.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kelinee Stone, who scored 13 points. Christian Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Lafayette Christian Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Woodlawn-B.R., their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Cecilia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodlawn-B.R. will be home for the holidays to greet Belaire at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Belaire will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 271st, while Woodlawn-B.R. is ranked 102nd).
