Basketball Recap: Gallatin County Has No Trouble Against Owen County

Gallatin County hadn't done well against Owen County recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The stars were shining brightly for the Gallatin County Wildcats in a 64-49 win over the Owen County Rebels. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 73-66 loss the last time these two teams met.

Gallatin County's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Owen County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Gallatin County has already played their next contest, a 58-51 win against Beechwood on the 17th. As for Owen County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 57-28 victory against Carroll County on the 19th.
