Parkway South had won eight straight home games and Jacob Sidwell did his part to make it nine on Thursday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, the Parkway South Patriots made off with a 50-49 win over the Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils which was due in part to Sidwell, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Parkway South's victory bumped their record up to 18-8. As for Maplewood-Richmond Heights, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Parkway South will square off against Eureka at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkway South is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season. Maplewood-Richmond Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
