Meridian came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Anacortes Seahawks on the board, marking their second-straight 3-0 shutout. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Seahawks, too.

Meridian's record now sits at 12-4. As for Anacortes, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-11.

Coming up, Meridian will venture away from home to square off against Bellingham at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Anacortes, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Lynden on the 25th.
