Softball Game Preview: Milpitas Trojans vs. Sequoia Ravens

The Milpitas Trojans will challenge the Sequoia Ravens at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Milpitas is looking for their season's first win.

Milpitas lost 15-2 to Piedmont Hills on Tuesday.

Chloe Cabrera was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was April Price, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Sequoia had just enough and edged out Branham 5-4 on Tuesday.

The team relied heavily on Mehta Nisha, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Elkington Jamie, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Milpitas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sequoia, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
