Baseball Game Preview: West Wolfpack vs. Lodi Flames

For the second straight game, West will face off against Lodi. The Wolfpack will host the Flames at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: West has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Lodi will arrive with four straight victories.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for West's offense. They came up short against Lodi on Wednesday, falling 10-0.

For Lodi's part, Landon Beasley was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave Beasley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Noah Hufford, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Lodi pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for West, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1.
