Basketball Recap: Hannan Wildcats vs. Sherman Tide

After flying high against Ignite Athletics last Saturday, Hannan came back down to earth. The Hannan Wildcats had to suffer through an 85-47 loss at the hands of the Sherman Tide. The Wildcats have struggled against the Tide recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Hannan's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Cade, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Chaffin, who had ten points.

Hannan's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Sherman, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.
