Seymour was the 64-59 winner over Kennedy when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Seymour Wildcats fell 66-55 to the Kennedy Eagles on Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Seymour lost, don't look at Joey Carrafiello. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. Carrafiello's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Robby Carrafiello, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 15 points and seven assists.

Seymour's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Kennedy, their win bumped their record up to 3-11.

We've got a battle between Wildcats coming up. One thing working in Seymour's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matchups. As for Kennedy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-53 victory against Ansonia on the 18th.
