Basketball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 71-32 defeat at the hands of the Good Hope Raiders. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Good Hope, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Danville Hawks face off against the Covenant Christian Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th. As for Good Hope, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Holly Pond at 5:30 p.m. on January 28th.
