Screven County waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Metter Tigers by a score of 66-54. This was a revenge game for the Gamecocks: when they faced off against the Tigers back in January, they had to take a 65-52 loss.

Leading Screven County to victory were Jaliah Roberts and Achanti Middleton. Roberts posted 27 points in addition to eight boards and four steals, while Middleton had 19 points along with six rebounds and five steals. What's more, Roberts also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Olivia Jackson, who scored ten points in addition to six rebounds and three steals.

Screven County's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Metter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Screven County nor Metter have any future games scheduled.
