It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Rockwall-Heath Hawks take on North Forney Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Forney took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Rockwall-Heath, who comes in off a win.
Last Friday, Rockwall-Heath earned an 11-6 win over Scurry-Rosser. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.
Alex Pitre spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in strikeouts.

On the hitting side, Rockwall-Heath let Piper Moore and Sophia Morin run wild. Moore went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double, while Morin went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple. Those three RBI gave Morin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Scott, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Rockwall-Heath was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, North Forney might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Tyler Legacy who claimed the real prize. North Forney took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tyler Legacy. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

At the plate, Brianna Hardrick was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. She also hit two doubles, marking her first of the season.
North Forney's loss dropped their record down to 9-11-1. As for Rockwall-Heath, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 6-9.
Rockwall-Heath beat North Forney 5-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Does Rockwall-Heath have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Forney turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
