Soccer Game Preview: Aquinas vs. Cross Creek

The Aquinas Fightin' Irish will face off against the Cross Creek Razorbacks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aquinas will be strutting in after a win while Cross Creek will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, everything went Aquinas' way against Westside as Aquinas made off with an 8-3 victory. Ava McArdle was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Cross Creek came up short against Academy of Richmond County last Thursday, falling 11-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Razorbacks were already down 7-1.

The win made it two in a row for Aquinas and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those two matches. As for Cross Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
