Basketball Game Preview: Ely Timberwolves vs. Chisholm Bluestreaks

Ely and Chisholm are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2021, but not for long. The Timberwolves will head out to challenge the Bluestreaks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ely will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Ely can't be too worried about heading out to take on Chisholm: they just beat Deer River at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Timberwolves slipped by the Warriors 51-50 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Chisholm made easy work of Barnum on Saturday and carried off a 53-32 win. The Bluestreaks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Ely's record is now 13-9. As for Chisholm, their record now sits at 23-4.

Ely couldn't quite get it done against Chisholm in their previous meeting back in February as they fell 59-46. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
